I have over 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. As the founder and President of Schilling Financial Group, Inc., I built a financial services firm that provided a wide range of insurance solutions and investment products to individuals and businesses. Throughout my career, my focus has been on helping individuals and small business owners protect their assets, prepare for retirement, and build long-term wealth. At the beginning of 2026, I merged my firm with Justabout Wealth Management to provide our clients with enhanced support, expanded financial solutions, and more comprehensive financial advice.
I am a past President of the Pittsburgh Executive Club, a former member of the Ohio Wesleyan University Alumni Board of Directors and earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA) through studies at the University of Pittsburgh and Cleveland State University. I received my undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.
I have been married to my wife, Hope, for 45 years. She was an educator for 38 years before retiring. We have three children and five grandchildren, all of whom live in Northern Virginia.
In my spare time, I coached community youth sports—including baseball, basketball, and soccer—for more than a decade. I enjoy virtually all sports, especially golf. In my younger years, I trained for and competed in triathlons as well as numerous local 5K and 10K races. I also enjoy working outdoors, including cutting down trees, splitting logs, and repairing masonry and fencing.
